Robert S. Kerr Lake, commonly referred to as Kerr Lake, is nestled in Cookson Hills, on the Arkansas River in Haskell, Le Flore, Muskogee, and Sequoyah Counties in eastern Oklahoma. Kerr Lake is about eight miles south of its nearest town, Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Kerr Lake covers 43,800 acres with 278 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 52 feet.
